Participants will learn the basic field inspection and testing requirements essential to verifying specification compliance.
Concrete is a great construction product if it is designed and installed properly. Poor quality concrete or poor installation techniques can be the beginning of a nightmare for the owner. This webinar will briefly address the major inspection and testing areas where an inspector can have the greatest impact on the resultant structure. It will look at each of the field tests and explain the reason for each test. It will also address the essential inspection functions for the concrete mixture, forming, steel reinforcement, placement, and curing.
This webinar is presented by USDA NRCS Science and Technology.
