The US Forest Service in partnership with the US Biochar Initiative and the Southern Regional Extension Forestry will be presenting its latest Biochar Webinar titled: "Biochar, Fungi, and Forest Management". This live webinar will be held March 30, 2023 from 11 to 12 pm Eastern time.
This month's speaker is Dr. Kimberly Draeger. Dr. Draeger is a world adventurer, with mycological curiosities. She has a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, in Biology and Environmental Science and Policy, and a PhD in Forestry and Plant Pathology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She has worked in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Washington, and Idaho forests, and is currently a Forest Pathologist in Region 10 – Alaska, with Forest Health Protection.
