This webinar will focus on important things to consider before building trails on your property, resources available to you for trail construction and maintenance, opportunities for tying into trail networks and general considerations for hosting people on your land.

Ann Savage, a tourism extension associate with N.C. State Extension, oversees resource and program development that enables the growth of prosperous and sustainable tourism destinations across North Carolina. She collaborates with extension offices and specialists throughout the state to support tourism management and development, outdoor recreation and economic development initiatives. Some of her recent projects include working with Visit NC, the North Carolina Division of State Parks, Recreation Resources Service, the Year of the Trail planning committee and the North Carolina Oyster Trail.
