This webinar will increase participants’ awareness and understanding of Corn Belt farmers’ beliefs, concerns and attitudes toward climate change.

This webinar will present results from a February 2012 survey conducted with 5,000 farmers across Corn Belt states that produce more than half of the nation’s corn and soybeans. Results of analysis of the relationships between beliefs about climate change, concern about potential impacts, and attitudes toward adaptation and mitigation will be presented. Implications for outreach to farmers regarding adaptation and mitigation practices and strategies will be discussed.
