Participants will learn how to address contract changes in a federal contract through contract modifications, and they will also learn how the government makes payments to the contractor and the requirements for both parties.

COR Webinar Series - This is part four of an eight part series that will provide new CORs the foundational knowledge to perform their jobs effectively. At this point in the series, the contract is underway. Webinar participants will learn how to address changes that will surely occur during the contract from a variety of reasons. They will explore one particular change condition as the result of differing site conditions. They will also learn how the government makes payments to the contractor and what is required for a payment to be made.
This webinar is approved for 1.0 hour of initial CLP credits toward certification for those looking for Level I certification, for those needing refresher training in basic contract administration. During sign-in, select "yes" to earn Continuing Education Credits and/or Certificate of Attendance. At the conclusion of the webinar, take the quiz and complete the CEU form to receive a training certificate by email. NRCS will forward a list of participants that received a training certificate to the certifying entity to assist with the application of credits.

About the Presenters
Todd Davis is an Acquisition Analyst with the Policy, Practices, and Standards Branch under the Office of the Chief Procurement and Property Officer. Todd has 17 years of federal contracting experience, plus five years of private sector contracting experience, including construction and A-E services. He is FAC-C Level III certified. Todd has developed and presented training for numerous contracting topics.
Joe Freeland is a construction engineer on the NRCS National Design, Construction and Soil Mechanics Center staff. He joined the staff three years ago. Prior to that he was a project engineer in Oklahoma for over 25 years, working on construction projects for the construction, repair and rehabilitation of more than 150 flood control dams. Joe is a registered professional engineer in Oklahoma.
Todd and Joe are also instructors for the NRCS NEDC Contract Administration for Construction Contracts course.
