COR Webinar Series - This is part five of an eight part series that will provide new CORs the foundational knowledge to perform their jobs effectively. Effective construction contract documentation assists contracting officers and contracting officer’s representatives make timely contractor payments, properly evaluate contractor performance, and support fact finding in the case of claims and requests for equitable adjustments. In addition, the Federal Acquisition Regulation prescribes specific documents that must be maintained in contract files and sets specific time periods for their retention. Participants will see examples of both paper and photographic documentation and will learn strategies for developing sound practices with regard to both.
This webinar is approved for 1.0 hour of CLP for those needing refresher training in basic contract administration. During sign-in, select "yes" to earn Continuing Education Credits and/or Certificate of Attendance. At the conclusion of the webinar, take the quiz and complete the CEU form to receive a training certificate by email. NRCS will forward a list of participants that received a training certificate to the certifying entity to assist with the application of credits.

About the Presenters
Dale Garber is a construction engineer in Louisiana at the Crowley Watershed Construction Office. He has over 30 years of construction experience working on multi-million dollar contracts for the restoration of coastal wetlands in Louisiana. Dale is a Level III certified COR.
Crystal Blackburn is an acquisition analyst located in Alabama and reporting to NHQ. She has 8 years of contracting experience with the Federal government and an additional 7 years in private sector contracting. She is licensed attorney and maintains a Level II CO certification.
Both Crystal and Dale are NEDC presenters for the class Contract Administration for Construction Contracts.
