John Bilotta begins the discussion by talking about how extension was involved with the Minnehaha Creek Watershed storm water adaptation study and the flood control study which focused on Duluth, Minnesota. He explains the use of storyboards to present key points of information. John Stevenson discusses the Tillamook County Coastal Futures Project to examine the risks of climate change. He covers principles extension can use to support adaptation efforts. He defines the term “boundary workers” to describe extension work in communicating, convening, mediating, and translating during community adaptation efforts.
