Participants will learn how to balance forage supply with animal demand.
This webinar is a refresher course on the basics of conservation planning on pastureland. Grazing management is a balancing act between the requirements of the plant to grow and maintain itself and the forage being harvested. How plants grow, how to conduct a grazing lands resource inventory, and how to balance forage supply with animal demand will be discussed.
This webinar is presented by the USDA NRCS Central National Technology Support Center.
