About the presenter:
Dr. Debbie Page – Dumroese, she is a research soil scientist with the Rocky Mountain Research Station and has studied the impacts of harvest operations on soil processes and long-term soil productivity. For the past decade she has worked to reduce slash pile burning by finding uses for low value woody biomass. In particular, she has installed a dozen forest and range field studies that examine the impacts and benefits of adding biochar to the soil.
