This is the 5th and final webinar in the series sponsored by the North Carolina Forest Service, Community and Urban Forestry Program. This webinar addresses urban tree management.

Trees add to the character and environment of a community.  But planting should be a long-term strategy, not an expensive effort repeated every 8-15 years. It takes working with qualified staff or professionals to ensure the best results with limited resources. In short, cost effective management, with the biggest impact for your financial investment, means planning. Questions such as...

  1. What will be planted?
  2. Where will it be planted?
  3. What is the strategy for maintaining it?
  4. How do you get bigger bang for your buck?

...are only the beginning of a planning a comprehensive urban tree management program. This webinar will go beyond the obvious and superficial questions to help participants begin, improve or reinvigorate their tree management strategies.

Members of the American Planning Association who are Certified Planners (AICP) will find the live version of this webinar on the CM events calendar as Event # e.30382.
