About REACCH

The REACCH project was initiated in 2011 to ensure sustainable cereal production in the inland Pacific Northwest. The project was led by an interdisciplinary team of scientists and other professionals from three land grant institutions and the USDA Agricultural Research Service, with funding from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture’s Climate Variability and Change Program. Participants from many disciplines related to agricultural, climate, socioeconomics, and information sciences engaged in an integrated research, education, outreach and extension effort to study complex cereal production systems and their responses to drivers of change. About the Climate Learning Network (CLN)

The CLN was formed at the beginning of 2015 to promote climate literacy among Extension professionals who work in the areas of agriculture and natural resources and to connect Extension programs within the US Land-grant University System with the 10 USDA Climate Hubs. About Isaac Madison

Isaac Madsen is a PhD student at Washington State University's Department of Crop and Soil Sciences. He is originally from Portland, OR. Although not originally from an agricultural background he has a life long interest in agriculture, food systems, as well as basic plant and soil science. He is passionate about the rhizosphere and producing videos of roots growing.

About Dr. Bill Pan

Dr. William L. (Bill) Pan has spent the majority of his research career in documenting the fate of carbon and nitrogen cycling in cropping systems.  Dr. Pan is director of the Washington State Biofuels Cropping Systems Program and a co-director of STEEP IV, two foundational programs that contributed to the success of the Climate Change CAP proposal. Pan served as chair of the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences from 2002-2008. He was also a member of the Advisory Committee to the International Plant Nutrition Institute from 2008-2010. He has published extensively on topics that range from basic to applied soil sciences, and his publications have been featured in a variety of books and journals.
