Participants will learn to use the spreadsheet version of Center Pivot Evaluation and Design (CPED) to assess planned center pivot sprinkler package application uniformity.

Read ERRATA - NARRATIVE for important presentation corrections.

Participants will learn to interpret information found on a typical center pivot design printout, and find/recognize input required to execute a CPED simulation. Participants will be taught about the three different hydraulic simulation options available, and which option might be more appropriate for a particular situation. Participants will be able to execute a CPED simulation and interpret results. They will also be able to vary topographic or other input to use the spreadsheet as a troubleshooting tool for existing systems where financial assistance is not an issue.
