Forest landowners often try to maximize profits through minimizing management expenses or finding the highest price for their timber. However, taxes are a frequently overlooked area for savings. This webinar will discuss the top five ways forest landowners can decrease their federal income tax liability.
Andrew Bosserman is a Certified Public Accountant and former IRS agent with an in-depth knowledge of the timber and Christmas tree industries gained through owning and operating his own tree farm in Southern Ohio. He is currently attending Wake Forest School of Law to become a tax attorney. Andrew lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with his wife Sallie, where they enjoy hiking, traveling, and making homemade pizza.
