This webinar informs the viewer of the contents of the recently released USDA NRCS National Engineering Handbook chapter on Surface Irrigation and suggests how each section might be used.

The recently released Surface Irrigation (NEH Part 623.04) of the USDA NRCS National Engineering Handbook is discussed section by section. Most NRCS employees will use it as a user guide for NRCS_Surface.exe, but there is a lot more information included in this new addition to the NEH. The three sections in the main body of the chapter are discussed thoroughly. At the end of each section discussion, several suggestions are given on how the section can be used and who will benefit from reading it.

This webinar is sponsored by the USDA NRCS West National Technology Support Center.
